WELCOME TO PFC
PASTOR DONNIE MCCLURKIN served as an assistant to Pastor Marvin L. Winans
at Perfecting Church, Detroit, Michigan for over a decade. He was ordained and sent
out by Pastor Winans in 2001 to establish Perfecting Faith Church (PFC), in Freeport, New York. As the church was established with approximately two hundred members,
it has grown to nearly 3,000 members since its inception.
Taking on the spirit of its leader, the ministry’s lifeblood is evangelism and outreach to
lost and hurting people. This is evident by its annual CHURCH WITHOUT WALLS
(CWOW) crusade during July and August, where the ministry goes into the
community and brings the church outdoors. Along with ministering to the spiritual,
PFC also ministers to the natural and social needs by bringing healthfairs,
clothing drives, assisting in shelters and caring for the whole person.
Pastor McClurkin is also the Founder and President of “The NEW YORK CALL!” This is a coalition of over one hundred pastors and ministries throughout the Tri-State area. The NEW YORK CALL stretches across denominational, ethnic and social barriers in order to bring the Body of Christ together in unity and in the bond of peace. This annual event (held at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow, NY and most recently The Nikon at Jones Beach Theater) draws 15 to 17 thousand people each year.
Perfecting Faith Church, being a part of the PERFECTING FELLOWSHIP, (organized and under the leadership of Bishop-elect Marvin L. Winans), is also involved in church planting, having four ministries planted in its short twelve years: Perfecting the Heart Family Worship Center in Chester, South Carolina, Perfecting Love in Lakeland, Florida, Perfecting Praise Ministry in Hempstead, New York and Emmanuel Youth Chapel in Harlem, New York.
Perfecting Faith Church’s theme is, “Ministry Means People!” and its endeavor is to bring people into a real relationship with Jesus Christ. When asked what his greatest passion was, Pastor McClurkin said “……more now than ever before, I feel my greatest strengths and calling lie in pastoral ministry. It’s my very existence and my greatest joy.” Because of this stance, Perfecting Faith Church has continued to advance the Kingdom of God by representing love, compassion, hope, and holiness as a means to win lost souls back to Jesus Christ.
