PASTOR LOUIS MELLINI has distinguished himself for more than 20 years with accomplishments in film, television, video, stage and major live events. His experience incorporates general-market and direct-response advertising in secular and Christian markets. His work has earned him industry recognition, including the London International Television Award, Clio Award, Tele Award, Belding Award and National Association of Advertising Award.
While his family attended Christ Memorial Church of God in Christ, pastored by Bishop Benjamin Crouch Sr., he led the Youth Ministry. He and his family later became members of Church of the Harvest in Los Angeles, California, under
the leadership of Bishop Clarence E. McClendon. Consecrated to the office of Elder, God called him from secular employment to full-time ministry as the head of all media and marketing. Drawing upon his gifts, training and background in entertainment and production, he built and launched ministries for the church and Bishop Clarence E. McClendon Ministries in television, radio, Internet, book publication and CD recording productions. He received award nominations for “Shout Hallelujah,” a CD and video project.
His leadership also helped draw tens of thousands to crusades the church sponsored in the United States and abroad. He later became the Pastor of Administration at Church of the Harvest, where he oversaw the church’s daily operations, real estate acquisitions and even the purchase of an airplane.
Recognized for his leadership and procedural skills, Pastor Mellini has been called upon to consult and train directors, camera operators, editors and media staff for ministries across the nation. In obedience to God’s direction, in January 2002, Pastor Mellini moved his entire family to Long Island, New York where he assumed the positions of Assistant Pastor and Church Administrator of Perfecting Faith Church. In addition to working to launch Perfecting Faith Church’s Radio and Television Ministries, Pastor Mellini is also spearheading the Home and Foreign Missions Department which recently took clothing and supplies to Jamaica and Haiti.
